The Parent Resource Centre
Incredible Directory
About the Incredible Directory

The Incredible Directory is a convenient and easy to use directory that inventories resources and services for parents, children, childcare providers and professionals working with families in the Ottawa area.

The Incredible Directory’s First edition was launched back in 1993 with subsequent editions released in 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2006. In 2006, we also launched the Incredible Directory Online, an online version accessible through our website.

The Ottawa region has a wealth of resources to meet the needs of parents and professionals working with young children and their families.  The Incredible Directory bridges the gap between those needs and the resources available within the community.

Benefits of the Incredible Directory:

  • Quick reference guide with a multi index for easy cross referencing
  • Clear and convenient format in a compact size that is portable enough to take with you
  • Comprehensive resource guide for parents and professional working with young children and their families
  • Lists useful local information, great for newcomers to the National Capital Region

Using the Incredible Directory:

  • The use of the services in this Directory is the responsibility of the user
  • The inclusion of a listing does not constittute an endorsement by the Parent Resource Centre nor does exclusion indicate a lack of endorsement
  • The listings are based on information provided by the service providers.  We have made every effort to be accurate and complete and regret any errors or omissions.
  • Charitable and non-profit organizations are listed in this Directory free of charge. Others were included for a fee and therefore, by their choice, are only partially represented.
